The correct operation of production plants is strictly dependent on the dependability of heat and power generation plants.
Moreover, electric power is not only necessary for feeding production processes, but may be a business itself, in case it is sold on the open market.
To this aim, investment plans on new power generation and distribution plants or for the revamping of existing ones have to be defined, considering not only technical aspects, but also economic, environmental, legal, tariffs constrains.
